MicroSoft Dynamics 365 Developer - Senior (Warmte)

For one of our Dynamics 365 initiatives, we are looking for an external Senior Technical Microsoft Dynamics 365 Developer with strong experience in Dynamics 365 Sales and Project Operations. This role will primarily support the Dutch business unit, with the assignment running until the end of this year.

Role description

As a Senior Dynamics 365 Developer, de professional is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining highquality technical solutions within the Dynamics 365 platform. De professional combineert diepe technische expertise met een solide begrip van bedrijfsprocessen in Sales and Project Operations, ensuring solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with enterprise standards.

De professional werkt nauw samen met product owners, architects, and business stakeholders in an agile environment and de professional heeft zowel functional as technical expertise nodig for this project.

Key responsibilities

• Mapping functional requirement to technical solutions within D365

• Developing functional and technical solutions within Dynamics 365 Sales and Project Operations

• Implementing customizations using:

  • C# and .NET

  • JavaScript and clientside scripting

  • Plugins, custom workflows, and extensions

• Developing and maintaining integrations between Dynamics 365 and other enterprise systems like SAP.

• Supporting configuration and extensions related to:

  • Sales processes (leads, opportunities, accounts, quotes)

  • Project Operations (project lifecycle, resource management and costing)

• Ensuring performance, security, and maintainability of custom solutions

• Supporting deployments, releases, and technical troubleshooting

• Collaborating with functional consultants and solution designers to translate requirements into technical designs

• Working according to agile and DevOps ways of working

• Creating and maintaining documentation of the area

• Proactively identifying technical improvements and contributing to solution optimization

• 7+ years of experience as a Microsoft Dynamics 365 developer
• Strong handson experience with Dynamics 365 Sales
• Proven experience with Dynamics 365 Project Operations
• Solid technical skills in C#, .NET, and JavaScript
• Experience with Dynamics 365 APIs, plugins, and integration patterns
• Experience working in agile development teams
• A higher degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Information Technology, or Engineering is typically required for this role.
• The external worker needs to be living in Netherlands.

Wensen

• Experience working with Azure services and Power Platform is a strong plus
• Certifications in Microsoft Dynamics 365 or related technologies would be highly advantageous, demonstrating both technical proficiency and commitment to ongoing professional development.

Competenties

• Strong problemsolving skills and a proactive, qualitydriven mindset
• Ability to work independently in an external consultant role
• Fluency in English (spoken and written)
