You are experienced in the agile way of working, understand the risk & compliance needs of a bank and possess a broad interest and opinion on technology trends. You are a self-starter who takes ownership to make a positive impact. You are experienced in hiring tech talent and you get energy from empowering people and teams.

Being a tech lead for an end-to-end Data Science & GenAI team means that you are responsible to build high-performing teams that are empowered to design, build and run analytics and GenAI solutions. Due to the scope of 5-7 teams, your people and teams receive the attention they deserve, while also giving you the opportunity to implement continuous improvements.

• Recruit, mentor and retain top talent. Encourage cross-functional skill development and collaboration.
• Encourage teams to take ownership from ideation to deployment. Promote a sense of pride in delivering high-quality solutions.
• Address security and regulatory risks. Collaborate with compliance teams to ensure adherence to standards and frameworks.
• Foster a collaborative and high-performing culture. Empower team members to take ownership, encourage skill development and ensure effective communication.
• Ensure a robust, effective and result oriented software delivery processes and empower teams to deliver reliable, scalable, secure and valuable solutions.
• Mitigate risks related to security and regulatory compliance. Ensure the implementation of robust controls and cybersecurity measures to safeguard the banks systems and data.

Resultaten

• Focus on 5 to 7 end-to-end teams.
• Responsible for 30-50 (in)direct reports.
• Analytics products that are used by millions of customers.

• You are a friendly and approachable person;
• You have an academic working and thinking level;
• You have 5+ years of experience in similar roles within complex IT environments;
• You have a demonstrable affinity for complex end-to-end analytics product delivery;
• You have strong leadership capabilities to foster a collaborative and result driven culture;
• You have a solid understanding of software lifecycle management and quality assurance;
• You have experience in hiring, mentoring and empowering tech talent;
• You embrace Agile, Scrum, DevOps and software craftmanship principles;
• You communicate clearly and concisely in English, both verbally and in writing;
• You are known for maintaining control over budget, risk, compliance and HR;
• You have both high level and hands on experience with GenAI capabilities;

Wensen

• Experience in an ML Ops environment is a big plus;
• Experience in a regulated / banking environment is a big plus.
