Head of FP&A

Join Mediq, a dynamic and fast-growing international healthcare leader, as the Head of Group Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A). In this interim role, youll play a central part in shaping the financial future of a company dedicated to improving lives across 14 countries.

Your Role as Head of Group FP&A
As the right hand to the Director Group Finance & Control, youll lead the Group FP&A team (9 FTE) to deliver insights and support decision-making. Youll oversee the Group planning and control cycle (including group consolidation and reporting process), drive continuous improvement, and provide actionable advice to senior leaders.

Key areas of focus:

• Leadership: Lead, mentor, and inspire the FP&A team, ensuring professional growth and excellent performance.

• Strategic Insights: Deliver actionable analysis that highlights risks and opportunities for the Group Executive Committee and Investor.

• Innovation: Support BI, and Automated Reporting transformation

• Continuous Improvement: Champion the simplification and enhancement of FP&A processes to improve reporting. Document SOPs within the team and drive best practices and efficiencies.

• Stakeholder Collaboration: Serve as a key liaison for the finance leadership team across markets, our Private Equity shareholder, and the Executive Committee, aligning on financial planning and reporting.

• Sustainability Focus: Support the implementation of ESG initiatives at a group level.

In this role, youll take the lead on projects such as improving FP&A insights, boosting forecasting accuracy, and optimizing cash flow. These initiatives will have a tangible impact on Mediqs growth and operational excellence.

• Experience managing an FP&A team in a multinational company is essential
• Understanding of private equity
• A university degree in economics or business administration
• Fluency in English is a must

Wensen

• Post-Master's in Controlling (RC) preferred
• Dutch is a plus
• Previous exposure to private equity settings is beneficial

Competenties

• Experience driving finance function transformations and process improvements
• Familiarity with tools like Cognos Controller or similar platforms
• Strong team management capabilities to lead a high-performing team
• A champion communicator who can tell the story behind the numbers and communicate clearly and effectively
• Experience in multi-country organizations
