Omschrijving

As a Technical Integration Manager, you are responsible for helping our clients to integrate our PSP (Payment Service Provider) solution in their online checkout. You work closely with the sales team to provide technical product knowledge and support during the sales process. You are a trusted advisor for both internal and external stakeholders and own all the technical aspects of the PSP solution. This includes leading technical discussions with clients and helping them resolve the issues you face during product exploration and integration. You are willing and able to take ownership of the customer onboarding lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead technical integrations and implementations from pre-sales to Go-Live, acting as the primary technical contact. Take ownership with agility and act as Single Point of Contact supporting the merchant integration team
  • Oversee and manage the full customer onboarding lifecycle, ensuring timely delivery, managing ING internal parties and meeting client expectations
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Product teams on integrations, troubleshooting, and documentation.
  • Providing technical consultancy.
  • Monitor post-Go-Live performance and drive continuous improvement through client feedback.
  • Facilitate communication between technical and business teams.
  • Lead issue resolution and ensure smooth operations.

Eisen

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role
  • Experience in Payments in a technical/product role supporting external clients
  • Experience integrating with or supporting Payment Service Providers (PSPs), gateways, or acquirers.
  • Familiar with at least one modern back-end language (Java, TypeScript/Node.js, C#/.NET, or Go) and API design (REST, webhooks, OAuth).
  • Good understanding of how APIs operate and are documented
  • Ability to take full ownership and responsibility of customer onboarding and support
  • Communication skills towards clients and ING internal parties
  • Outstanding problem-solving ability, eagerness to learn, and curiosity.
  • Strong customer acumen
  • Can speak and engage with technical teams
  • Knowledge of the software development process

  • Some sales or account management experience.
  • Familiarity with card network concepts (settlement, tokenization, disputes, transaction monitoring).
  • Excellent at communicating complex solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
